CMS Community Blog
We expect that many people who post here will be members of organizations
affiliated with the Campaign. Some will be teachers or school
officials seeking ideas about how to include civic learning in their
schools. Some may be academics or researchers who have been
grappling with education reform for many years. We also expect
policymakers and their staff to join in, seeking information they can
use to make policy changes to elevate and strengthen civic learning in
the schools and allies to advocate with them.
We especially want this exchange to include voices from outside the
circumference of the Campaign. We would like to hear from
parents, students, dissenters, and people speaking simply as citizens.
We only ask that the topic of conversation remains on CMS themes: schools,
civic learning, education policy, and educating the next generation of
Americans for democracy. more »
