Draft Social Studies Curriculum Standards (August 2002) include process standards for all grades, content standards, learning expectations, benchmarks (which include three levels of student performance indicators to be documented through state assessment and three levels of student performance indicators to be assessed by the teacher), and "accomplishments," which are also performance indicators.
